Testimony 2 months after Z-POEM

My name is Platis Athanasios and I am 67-years-old.

I suffered from dyscataposia for years. As time passed symptoms became more and more severe. Previous gastroscopy showed food impaction into the esophagus without specific diagnosis. Only a suspicion of esophageal motility disorder.

On 1/11/2022 Dr. Nikos Eleftheriadis performed a gastroscopy and Zenker diverticulum was diagnosed. Immediately after diagnosis he proceeded to Endoscopic Z-POEM. Everything went well, I stayed only one day in-hospital and discharged next day. I started eating gradually one day after Z-POEM and I don’t feel drown as before.
